Interview with Jenna Haze

Over the years I’ve met many a porn star, but no one like Jenna Haze. Jenna is a rare breed in the porn industry because she’s modest about herself and porn career. She truly can’t understand why everyone adores her so much. She told me after the interview that it feels weird when people come up to her and ask for her autograph. "I’m like any other girl walking down the street," she said. No! You’re not!

Jenna was born in Fullerton, California. In school she was the average student that not only liked boys, but girls too. She lost her virginity on the first day of high school to guy she didn’t like at all. She just wanted to lose her virginity, period. She worked various jobs like a fast food manager, a waitress at a pie shop, an oil change girl, and stocking selves of a toy store during the Christmas holidays.

When Jenna turned 18, she tried stripping for one day but didn’t like it. At the age of 19 she left her boyfriend of almost 4 years and started hitting the club scene in the Orange County area. It was at one of these clubs when she was approached about doing porn movies by two guys who had connections into the industry. The rest is history!

RICK: Jenna, why don’t you start out by telling the readers a little bit about yourself and where you’re originally from.

JENNA: Well my name is Jenna Haze, I’m 24 years old and I’ve been in the adult industry for over five years now since I was 19 years old. I was born and raised in Orange County California and I live in the valley now the porn valley of California because that is where I have to live because of work. I’ve done about 225 adult films. I’ve been dancing for about 3 years. I do guys, girls and anal and everything and I don’t know what else you want to know.

RICK: How in the world did you ever get into the porn business?

JENNA: Well I was hanging out at a club just a regular club in Orange County Calif. And I was a waitress at the time and I was partying with a girlfriend of mine just having a good time dancing and stuff. I was dancing on a DJ booth and flashing my pussy to guys and flirting around and stuff and this guy that was hanging out with a group of friends of mine. " Oh my God you’re wild, you’re crazy, you need to get into the business," he told me. He said I know Peter North and you should definitely get into the business. I was like "really," because I’ve always been a huge porn fan ever since I was like 14 years old. I love porn. So I always wanted to do it any way but I never had the opportunity. So when he came up to me and said that I just jumped into it and was like sure why not. So the next day I went down to AIM where we get all our SFD and Aids tests and I got tested and the day after that I was working. So it was a very spur of the moment thing.

RICK: I’ve heard rumors that a lot of girls get into porn for the money but I heard a rumor that you loved getting into porn because you love to fuck.

JENNA: Yes that is correct. I love the sex of it. That was my whole thing when I started getting into it. I was already picking up guys at clubs and taking them home and fucking them. So now it’s like when I got in the business and I had the opportunity it was like wow I get to fuck these guys, I get to get off, I get to have fun, I get to be tested so I know I’m not going to be getting anything and I get paid for it. I was like wow this is amazing. This is the best thing in the world.

RICK: How great is something like that something you love to do and your getting paid for it?

JENNA: And I get a little bit of fame with it too!

RICK: Well I wouldn’t say a little bit, I’d say a hell of a lot.

JENNA: I think it is just a little bit, I’m very modest about that.

RICK: Well after the crowd that was here tonight to see you.

JENNA: Was it good?

RICK: It was damn good! That’s for sure. Now when you’re away from the business just chilling out at home, what do you enjoy doing?

JENNA: Well I am a very avid reader. I read everything from Dean Koontz, most of Stephen King, I’m obsessed by Chuck Palneck right now. I’ve read a ton of Greek mythology including the Illiot and the Odyssey. I’m very into video games. I love golf, snow-boarding. I shop a lot and play with my dog I have a Labrador who is almost 3 years old now that I play with a lot. And other than that I spend time with my boyfriend and watch a lot of movies but that is about all I have time for. I’m a busy girl.

RICK: Now living out in the Valley do you ever get a chance to go to any of the studios there in town to see any of the shows like at NBC or anyplace like that?

JENNA: Oh no. Defiantly not. I don’t have time to do anything like that. I don’t know if I’d want to because people in LA seem to recognize me a lot. I can’t even go to the subway without the guy going hey you’re that anal girl. It kind of ruins my sandwich.

RICK: Now you are very bisexual right?

JENNA: Yes very bi I love women, I love them. I love women, I love men, and I love men for my relationships and women just to play and have a good time with. Women are too hard to be relationships with, I did it for 2 years and she beat the crap out of me. Over the course of 2 years and finally I couldn’t take it anymore. She was a great girl. Being on your period at the same time together things got a little crazy.

RICK: Now what kind of woman turns you on?

JENNA: Well I don’t have a specific type when it comes to girls. I just like a girl to be real honest. I don’t like it when girls are into girls just to have the attention of all the guys that are around. Or if they are just trying to do it to impress somebody or whatever because it’s trendy to be bi or trendy to be with girls like everyone in Penthouse. Girls who are just real and down to Earth. I don’t like big boobs that much. I’ve had a lot of them in my time but I’m not really that into them. They don’t really feel that great. A girl who is funny and have a good time and eat and chill. RICK: Now you’ve been on Howard Stern correct?

JENNA: Yes I have.

RICK: What was that experience like?

JENNA: That actually was really awesome. We went to New York and it was actually my first time in New York City so we kind of went wild and partied the night before. We went to the show and we were kind of a little bit tired, we were sleeping in the green room and they called me in and I was so scared. I was like oh my god is he going to rip me up? Because you know how he gets with girls, you need a boob job you need to do this. And I thought he was going to do that to me and I went in there and I was shaking. He is like the ultimate voice of any kind of radio or anything. And he said, " Don’t change a thing," and I took off my top and everything and he said you are really cute and really pretty. And I was like wow and so flattered that he didn’t tear me apart or anything. But it is a really good experience. After we did the interview and everything I went up to him and I talked to him, shook his hand and he was so down to Earth and normal that I was like wow this is really cool. I’d love to go on his show again. In the meantime I’ve been doing a lot of Sirius radio shows like that for Playboy and for Jason Ellis who does Sirius Faction. I love to talk.

RICK: Is there anything about you that has been kept away from your fans that your fans don’t know of? Anything they don’t know about you that you’d like to tell?

JENNA: I would have to say is that fans don’t realize that I’m as tiny as I am. When they meet me the first thing they say to me is oh my god you’re so small. Do you eat? The other thing I would say they don’t know is I eat like a pig. I have like one of the highest metabolism I’ve ever known of anybody. So I eat like a pig I love food.

RICK: Well describe yourself, how tall are you, your weight and all of that.

JENNA: I am 5'3" tall and I weight 92lbs. I have a size 5-5 ½ foot and I wear a zero in jeans and dresses, extra, extra small in everything. So people don’t realize when they meet me how small I am because they see me in the pictures and your perception is off. You don’t have anything to compare it to you know. So people think I’m a lot tall too because I have very thin legs and when I wear heels, well, I look very tall and slender. So when people meet me they go god your fucking short. And I love being short so whatever. I’m just a normal girl who likes to fuck.

RICK: Have you ever fucked on a plane before?

JENNA: I’ve never fucked on a plane. I’ve been on a plane with my ex-boyfriend where we had the blanket over us and I like rubbed on his dick under the blanket but the flight attendants come walking by. I’d love to blow a guy on a plane.

I’m not really into TV that much, I watch a lot of movies and I read a lot but other than that I don’t have time to watch a lot of shows because I’m on the road so much.

RICK: Now with Christmas coming up what type of gift do you like to get at Christmas time?

JENNA: That’s a good question. Well last Christmas I got a laptop, a Christian Dior diamond watch and I got a custom-made diamond necklace from my boyfriend. Honestly I don’t know of anything. Honestly a guy could write me a song or a poem and I’d be just as happy as a fur coat. I love getting gifts so a long as it is from the heart and there is thought into it then I’d be happy.

RICK: Now you have a web site correct?

JENNA: I do have a web site. It is going to be under construction shortly because I just singed a new contract with my new webmaster so it is going to be completely redone. My last one didn’t get taken care of the way I liked. They wouldn’t update when I asked them to update. I dropped them off contacts they would never put it up there. I’d ask them to change something about the website and they wouldn’t change it. And I just got so frustrated after a while I just stopped updating it and left them. So now I just signed a new contract about a month ago. So by the first of the year I will have a brand new website all up and running.

RICK: So you do have a website address?

RICK: Is there any last words you’d like to say to your fans?
