INTERVIEW WITH THE REVEALING AND SEXY PORN STAR GINA LYNN Gina Lynn first came into the adult film industry as a former house dancer. Gina is a certifiable superstar of sex pictures - a sexy blonde with a great ass and perfectly round tits. Gina began her film career in Las Vegas in 1999 when she debuted in Midnight Video's "18 in Las Vegas." It would be hard to pick her best work, for Gina never gives less than complete sexual abandonment while making her videos. The first time I met Gina Lynn was at The Show on Highway 40 in Kansas City, Missouri about three years or so ago. Her main squeeze was with her, male porn star Travis Knight. I caught up with Gina Lynn again in September of 2005 when she appeared at Bazooka's Showgirls in Kansas City, Missouri. Gina was looking hot as ever, and she had her main squeeze with her again, Travis Knight. Gina was sweet enough to sit down with me for this exclusive interview after her first show. - Words By Rick Ryan. [Photos courtesy of: James O. Wright] RICK: Hi. It's been a while since I first met you here in Kansas City. How's things been going for you? ![]() GINA: Everything's been going great except for the accident I had during a Motocross Mayhem Show back in late August. RICK: What exactly happen to you? You look great now! GINA: I was a special guest at the Motocross Mayhem Show along with "Howard Stern Show" personality Jackie Martling and the band Lit. I was involved in a stunt that some people say was risky, but a freak accident happened. I was on the back of a motorcycle with a professional rider pulling this enormous rubber band. Before I had a chance to release it, the rubber band broke, snapped back, and struck me in the face. It also struck the biker driver, Todd Potter, a stunt driver for the Metal Mulisha. RICK: What kind of injuries did you suffer from this broken rubber band that hit you in the face? GINA: I had a swollen eye and busted lip that was also swollen. When the accident happened, I wasn't sure what happened at first because I was in a daze. The ambulance checked me out and from there I went to the hospital to make sure there were no broken bones. RICK: How long did it take you to heal up from the injuries? GINA: Oh, about 10 days, I guess. I still felt a little odd for several weeks. I guess that was a self-conscious thing about my looks. I would have been finished in the business if it had disfigured me in any way. RICK: Well, I'm glad you survived that horrible experience without any long-lasting effects to your body or face.
GINA: Me too! I did have to cancel some bookings, but that was nothing compared to what could have happened to me. Everybody in the ambulance thought something broke in my face, but thank God it didn't. It was just a freak accident! RICK: Okay. Let's get back to the regular Gina Lynn. Where are you originally from? GINA: I'm a native of Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. My parents moved to Jackson, New Jersey when I was young. I grew up there. RICK: When did you enter the adult entertainment business? GINA: I was a senior at a Catholic high school when I started go-go dancing at a local club called Heartbreakers. Then I heard about Al's Diamond Cabaret, a club in Reading, Pennsylvania, which drew, packed houses when LaToya Jackson featured there. I moved over to Al's even though I use to commute two hours there and two hours back everyday. I stayed there 5 years. RICK: You were feature dancing at a club called the Can Can Room when the film business first caught your eye, right?GINA: Yes. In 1999 I made my film debut in Midnight Video's "18 in Las Vegas!" Was twenty-five years old at the time. Oops! I hope that didn't give away my true age. (Laughing) RICK: You've made 50 plus films since that time. Weren't you offered a contract by Sin City? GINA: Yes, but I turned it down. A little later is when I signed a contract with Pleasure Productions. RICK: You started doing magazine layouts before film, right? GINA: Yes. I really started my public career doing magazines such as Cheri, Leg Action and Legal and Tender. RICK: Of course, today you're a feature entertainer touring the country and meeting your fans. Do you enjoy traveling to the different cities and meeting those fans that support you? GINA: Oh yes! If it wasn't for my fans, well, I wouldn't be here today. It's really a great experience when you travel from city to city, meeting all the different people you meet a long the way. It can get tiring at times, but overall I love it. RICK: We know you don't travel alone, right?GINA: Right! My man is with me on tour. RICK: That man is male porn star Travis Knight, correct? GINA: Yes. But no one ever knows that he's porn star Travis Knight because he doesn't want to take anything away from me. He wants me getting the spotlight. Sometimes fans will recognize him from my videos, but he stays pretty low-key. RICK: There haven't been too many porn stars that have made the transition into mainstream movies and such. You have! What's some of the work you've had in that direction? GINA: Well, I played a stripper in the feature film "Analyze That," which stars Billy Crystal and Robert De Niro. I've also appeared in NBC's "Third Watch," and HBO's "The Soprano's." RICK: You also appeared in the Eminem music video "Superman," right? GINA: Yes I did! My appearance in "Analyze This" caught his attention and motivated him to seek me out for the "Superman" video. RICK: Do you have any little secrets to tell about Eminem? ![]() GINA: Well... he's actually a soft kisser. He also grabbed my ass a lot when we were under the covers. Of course, I got even with him. I was able to sneak in a bunch of kisses on him underneath the covers. When he came out from underneath the covers, he had lipstick all over him. Since they did two takes, the make-up artist had to clean his face off. I thought that was funny! RICK: What did Travis (her boyfriend) think about it? GINA: He was cool with it. He knew I was playing around with Eminem. RICK: How tall is Eminem? GINA: He's only about 5'8" tall. I'm only 5'2" tall, so we were a good fit together, I'd say. RICK: Did he ever ask you for your phone number? GINA: No, he never did! His buddies did, but I just signed a bunch of photographs for them. RICK: Have you ever had any well-known celebrities hit on you? GINA: Yes. Corey Feldman and Pauly Shore tried. RICK: You have your own production company, right? GINA: Yes I do. I now have Gina Lynn Productions. I enjoy being behind the camera. You can check out that work by going to: www.topnotchbitches.com. I also have my own personal web site and fan club address, too. The web address is: www.ginalynn.com. My fan club address is: Gina Lynn's Fan Club, PO Box 2652, Westlawn, PA. 19609. Besides that, I'm also under contract with Club Magazine. I'll be doing another photo shoot with them when I fly to Los Angeles on September 26, this month. RICK: What else do you have coming up in the future?GINA: Well, besides doing my feature entertainer thing, I'll be in Negril, Jamaica to embark on a "Search for the Next Top Notch Bitch." Me and Travis Knight will be at the Hedonism II Resort judging various contest and events geared for adult film star hopefuls. This takes place in October. RICK: You seem to stay pretty busy all the time. Would you be considered a workaholic? GINA: Yes, very much so! I like my breaks, but I've got to feel productive. During the time I was healing up from my accident, it drove me up the wall not being able to work. RICK: I usually don't ask questions like the one I'm about to ask you, but here it goes. Does the size of a guy really matter? GINA: Not really! A normal size is between six and a half to seven inches. I don't like them too big, but I also don't like them small. Yes, maybe in a way size does matter. (Laughing) RICK: I know you have another show coming up real soon, so I guess we better end. Any last words? GINA: Once again I want to thank all of my fans out there. I greatly appreciate their support. Please come and check out my web sites and join. You won't regret it! RICK: Thanks for the time. GINA: Thank you Rick. It was nice seeing you again. Gina Lynn has had one helluva career in front of the X-rated cameras with movies like "Naughty Nights 1 & 2," "Strap-on Sally," and "Savage Security." However, she's accomplishing just as much behind the cameras with her main squeeze Travis Knight now. No, she's not all work! When she is away from the camera and feature entertaining, Gina does enjoy regular things like mountain biking, playing racquetball and staying fit by working out at the gym as often as possible. And, in fact, that shows in her body when she's on stage performing. Has Gina made an impact in the porn industry? I should say so! When she returned to her native Puerto Rico for some busy store appearances at its largest adult chain, Condom World, people were yelling her name out on the streets when they saw her. If that isn't making an impact, I don't know what is. Once again I'd like to thank the owner of Bazooka's Showgirls, Jimmy, Botch, the entertainers and, of course, Gina Lynn for their time and a great night of sizzling fun.
